Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and efforts to the 2017 NCSF Dual Specialty Shows! Our club drew entries from all over the Western US, even as far as Alaska. The weather was hot, and the sun and spirits were cheery.
Despite the heat, exhibitors and club members took to the ring bright and early to show sweepstakes entries to Dr Darin Collins, and regular class entries to breeder judge Eric Steel.
Everyone loved the painted glass morning trophies from artist Val Hiller, and the afternoon portraits from artist Elle Wilson.
All the dogs showed beautifully and the judges had a difficult time choosing which dogs to present with ribbons.
Eric Steel awarded Morning Best of Breed to AmGCh CanCh Kushiel’s To Solace My Heart SC, Envy, a female fawn with sable feathering. Afternoon judge, Lois Ann Snyder, awarded Afternoon Best of Breed to GCh Scimitar’s Arctic Hurricane, Cane, a feathered male golden. Congratulations to Envy and Cane and all the winners!
After a fun day of showing, exhibitors gathered together to celebrate the day with wine and cheese, and of course, raffle drawings and a lively auction! Thank you to everyone who came, we love hosting this event!
